To reset your Robinhood password, click on the "Forgot Password" link on the login page. You'll need to enter the email address associated with your Robinhood account. Check your email for a password reset link and follow the instructions to create a new secure password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact Robinhood support for assistance. We recommend using a strong, unique password that you don't use for other online accounts.
Currently, Robinhood is only available to residents of the United States. You need a valid US Social Security Number, US address, and to be a US citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa to open an account. Robinhood has announced plans to expand internationally, but there's no specific timeline for when it will be available in other countries. For international investors, alternative platforms like eToro, Interactive Brokers, or local brokerage services in your country may be available options.
Robinhood supports bank transfers (ACH) for deposits and withdrawals. You can link your bank account directly to your Robinhood account for seamless transfers. Standard deposits typically take 4-5 business days to clear, but Robinhood Gold members get instant deposits. Withdrawals to your bank account usually process within 3-5 business days. Robinhood doesn't currently support wire transfers, PayPal, or credit card deposits for regulatory and security reasons. All linked bank accounts must be US-based financial institutions.
Yes, you can access your Robinhood account from multiple devices including smartphones, tablets, and computers. You can be logged into one mobile device and one web session simultaneously. If you try to log in from an additional device, you'll be automatically logged out of one of your previous sessions for security reasons. All your account data, watchlists, and portfolio information sync seamlessly across devices. For security, we recommend logging out of shared or public devices and enabling two-factor authentication.
